capsule: - Getting gelatin ready
- Getting the fill ready

Getting the Gelatin Ready
The first step in the process is to prepare the gelatin capsule. To begin, a machine melts and mixes a large amount of gelatin with the other necessary ingredients. Each blend will be unique due to the addition of colouring agents and other additives for creating the perfect softgel shell. After all of the ingredients have been thoroughly combined, the mixture must be kept warm to maintain the consistency of a liquid.
Encapsulate Your Formula inside Softgel
In the case of softgels, the process of encapsulating the formula occurs simultaneously with the addition of the shell to a machine alongside the blend. This entire process takes place in a temperature-controlled room with a humidity level of around 20%. It is critical to have ideal softgel manufacturing conditions in order to produce a high-quality end product.
Drying and Finishing
The softgels will be placed in a cool drum that rotates quickly in order to help the gelatin congeal. The finished softgel will be tumble dried, which will remove nearly 25% of the water from the softgel capsules. The softgels are introduced to the drying tunnel after being tumbled in the tumbler machine. This is an environment in which softgels are laid out on racks and subjected to a continuous flow of air for up to 48 hours. This is the softgel capsules’ final drying step before inspection.
